Iggy Domagalski
Iggy Domagalski is President & CEO of Wajax (TSE: WJX), one of Canada’s longest-standing and most diversified industrial products and services providers. Prior to joining Wajax, he was the CEO of Tundra Process Solutions, a leading Western Canadian supplier of industrial process equipment, and President of Western Industrial, an air compressor manufacturer in Vancouver. Prior to his career in industrial equipment, he spent five years in the financial services industry.
Iggy serves as a board member of the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta and is a member of the Business Council of Canada.
He has been named one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40, one of Canada’s 50 Most Inspirational Entrepreneurs, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba.
Richard Parker
Richard Parker is the Founder and President of Diomo Corporation – The Business Buyer Resource Center™. With over 30 years of experience in buying and selling businesses and representing business owners in their exit, Richard has personally acquired 13 companies plus one co-investment and has been instrumental in helping countless others navigate the complexities of business acquisitions. His expertise has made him a sought-after investment banker and speaker, with his insights featured in major publications such as The New York Times, Entrepreneur Magazine, and Forbes, where he is a regular contributor.
Richard has authored the acclaimed series ‘How To Buy A Good Business At A Great Price©,’ which serves as a definitive guide for aspiring business owners and has been sold in more than 80 countries. His innovative approach includes a strong emphasis on seller financing, strategic evaluation of business opportunities, and post-purchase planning to ensure long-term success.
Stephen Huddart
Stephen’s early career included work as a documentary filmmaker in Latin America; co-owner of a jazz cafe in Vancouver; executive positions with the BC SPCA; and running a media company and non profit focused on children.
In 2003 he joined the McConnell Foundation, serving as CEO from 2011 to 2020. Under his stewardship the foundation applied social innovation and solutions finance to regenerative partnerships with Indigenous organizations, governments, financial and academic institutions, and civil society. He was involved in creating Canada's $755 million Social Finance Fund, and co-founded the Transition Accelerator.
In 2022, McGill University awarded him an honorary Doctor of Laws degree. He lives in Victoria and is an adjunct professor at the University of Victoria’s Gustavson School of Business.
Jan Simon
For nearly two decades Jan worked in the financial industry including Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, and Salomon Brothers. Jan has invested in private and public markets, advised and raised public capital across multiple industries in Europe and North America.
His expertise is in the areas of: investment strategies, entrepreneurial finance and mergers and acquisitions for both European and North American markets. He has managed money in equities and fixed income as well as advised hedge funds in a variety of strategies.
In addition, since 2003 he has been teaching at graduate schools in Europe and North America. He is a Visiting Professor at IESE Business School, and a Finance Lecturer at the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley and at Beedie School of Business. Jan has designed and delivered Executive custom courses at IESE and INSEAD. He has won numerous Teaching Awards and The Economist rated him as one of the Top #20 Business School Professors in the world.
Jan holds a LL.B. and LL.M. from the Katholieke Universtiteit Leuven, an MBA from IESE Business School, and a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Essex. He holds the ICD.D Designation for corporate directors from the Rotman School of Management and earned his AMP at Harvard Business School.
He served the first battalion of Parachutists and Commandos as well as NATO’s Special Intervention Forces. He holds both commando A and Parachutist A military certificates.
Yi Wei
Driven by her lived experience of being a first-generation immigrant and first-generation college graduate, Yi is dedicated to making the world a better place by bringing together big ideas, stellar people, and a commitment to opportunity for all. Her vision of perfect is a day in which the term “social business” is redundant.
Yi currently serves as the Senior Director of Capital Deployment Initiatives at Momentus Capital, a mission-driven financial institution that offers financial, social, and knowledge capital to small businesses and community projects across the US. In her role, Yi leads investor engagement and fund structuring across the company’s business lines. Prior to Momentus Capital, Yi served as Vice President of Impact Capital at IFF, which provides financing to nonprofit real estate projects across the U.S. Midwest.
Prior to her time working in impact investing in the US, Yi worked in international development serving as the Global Director of Water and Sanitation at iDE. She spent nine years in Asia and Africa, growing a start-up initiative into the largest market-based rural sanitation program globally. Yi’s expertise includes social entrepreneurship, impact investing, and partnership strategy.
Yi holds a BA in Social Studies from Harvard University and an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago. In her spare time, Yi enjoys time outdoors with her family and friends.
Damodar Arapakota
Damodar is an experienced engineer and a technology entrepreneur with extensive experience in M&A. His business expertise covers entrepreneurship, product innovation, scale up, international business development, and financing. His technology expertise includes software, fintech, deep tech, IOT, AI, etc. Damodar is an advisor at a few startup accelerators and a mentor to a number of startups as well as established companies.
Damodar is actively involved in M&A and provides expertise in deal structuring, negotiations, funding, and post-acquisition scale-up.
Coro Strandberg
Coro Strandberg, President of Strandberg Consulting, is an influential sustainability strategist and thought leader. Coro is a Canadian trailblazer and visionary in marketplace innovation to advance social, environmental, and financial progress and has contributed to the evolving field of CSR and sustainability for more than 25 years. She works with businesses, governments, and industry associations to create strategies and pursue business models to address social and environmental risks and opportunities that propel society towards a sustainable future.
Roger Brassard
Roger is a CPA, CA, with extensive experience in providing taxation, organizational, and financial advice to private corporations and wealthy individuals. He obtained a B.Comm. from UBC, his CA designation in B.C. with a predecessor of KPMG, and became a tax partner in Ontario with KPMG. In recent years, Roger has been practicing on his own, providing his services to a small group of clients. Roger has been providing trusted advisory services to Mike Miller of RCG for over 35 years.
Greg Abtosway
Greg Abtosway brings over 20 years of strategic leadership and expertise in corporate development and operational management. With a robust background in spearheading growth strategies and optimizing organizational performance, Greg has made pivotal contributions in his roles within the industry.
Most recently, as the Vice President of Corporate Development at Wajax, Greg is focused on shaping and executing a comprehensive acquisition strategy aligned with the company's overarching strategic vision. His focused approach and keen insight facilitate the integration of key acquisitions, driving the company towards sustained growth and market expansion.
Prior to his tenure at Wajax, Greg served as the Chief Operating Officer at Tundra Process Solutions Ltd., where he held accountability for overseeing the operational facets of the organization. His leadership was instrumental in delivering exceptional financial results while orchestrating the seamless functioning of multiple operational entities.
Greg's invaluable expertise will provide mentorship to the RCG team with respect to mergers and acquisitions, where his guidance and strategic acumen will be instrumental in navigating complex deals and fostering successful partnerships.
Nadine Gudz
Nadine Gudz is a seasoned advisor with a passion for guiding companies toward regenerative practices and sustainable growth.
